Artists in Action International will present a reading of the Little Book of Cleveland Street Poetry on Sunday, September 21, 2008, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Clearwater Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave, Clearwater, FL 33755.
"The�Little Book of Cleveland Street Poetry," published by Artists in Action International, was released at the Downtown Poetry Walk on Saturday, April 19, 2008, which was proclaimed "Clearwater Poetry Day" in a proclamation by Mayor Frank Hibbard.
An album of all the submissions to the Little Book of Cleveland Street Poetry will be� presented to the Clearwater Main Library on September 21, to be added to the library's permanent archives.
The event will be introduced by Jan Nuckols, the library's Community Events Director, and will be hosted by Stazja McFadyen, one of the editors of the Little Book of Cleveland Street Poetry.� Contributing poets will be present to read their original poems which describe and celebrate life in downtown Clearwater, including Clearwater Main Street Program Director Anne Fogarty-France, downtown Clearwater's photographer David Ziff, and many others.
The event is open to the public and is suitable for audiences of any age.
