WRITER’S RENAISSANCE TO MEET SUNDAY AUGUST 10 - 2008
Why come to Writer's Renaissance Meeting?
We don't criticize. Our goal is not to interfere with the self determinism of the writer, but to encourage. Do you know that a writer can benefit from reading his works out loud to others, merely observing their response? I had the experience of reading the synopsis of my screenplay at one meeting and realized immediately that it was too complicated. I could judge this much better reading to others than home alone, as I actually became involved in communicating.
At Writer’s Renaissance we give tips and hints to help you write faster and better. We help each other. Whether its love poetry, lyrics for a song, a who done it, a major novel, a magazine article, a hard hitting investigative piece of journalism or a children’s book, you will benefit. And the five minute exercises always expand the writer's freedome and creativity.
Bring your needs and wants. What do you want to improve? Let’s help each other and brainstorm.
When: Sunday, August 10, 1:30-3:30 p.m..
