The Little Book of Cleveland Street Poetry |

Saturday, April 19th, in celebration of the newly proclaimed
“Clearwater Poetry Day”, Artists in Action International and The Main Street
Program honored local Poets by releasing “The Little Book of
Cleveland Street Poetry” at the 1st Annual Downtown Clearwater Poetry Walk.
The
book contains a unique collection of 27 poems written by local shop owners,
community leaders,
and residents past and present. Readings from the book of the poems and other poems were
enjoyed by
many throughout Cleveland Street Clearwater, and downtown.
Contained in the following pages
of this issue we have also featured some of the poets and poems from the Poetry
Walk and book.
This event marks only the
beginning of what can be achieved from the partnership of Artists in Action
International, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a renaissance of
the arts in downtown, and The Main Street Program.
Support Artists in
